The tapered sharpning stone can sharpen various sizes of round blades from round knives to carving knives according to the size of the radius. Both sides of the stone can be used, so you can sharpen either with the blade on the inside or the blade on the outside of the radius.Sharpen rough whetstone (240), medium whetstone (1000), and finishing whetstone (4000) in that order. If there are no edge chips or spills, only medium to finishing is sufficient.The new sharpening tool requires only a small amount of water to sharpen.
