These shoe-style push sticks are a favorite for many woodworkers because they more easily allow for downward pressure to be applied to the stock as you push. There is 6-1/4 of bearing length along the sole forward of the heel notch and at 7/16 thick, they work well for narrow cuts. A “V” groove in the sole allows you to position the stick along the corner of a board if needed. Polyethylene style plastic is stiff, yet resists shattering when cut. Hole in handle for hanging in the shop.
